Can this tester test 5-pin XLR (DMX) cable?

Unfortunately it is not possible to test 5 pin XLR's on this PRCT tester. It only tests 3 Pin XLR's.

Does this product have a test tone function?

Hello and thanks for your question. This particular unit (PRCT) does not have a test tone function, but instead had LED indication.
